According to reports, soldiers have been deployed to the home of National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Bola Tinubu who is a former governor of Lagos State said he will not be intimidated.
The media officer to the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Sunday Fadare said in a statement that the battle ready, helmet wearing soldiers have been in the private residence of the politician for “three straight days.” He said “their obvious target, Tinubu himself, and perhaps the hordes of politicians and visitors that visit his Bourdillon residence.”
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is the strongest opposition to the rulling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the postponed Nigerian presidential elections which will now hold March 28th instead of the early scheduled February 28th.
The incumbent president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, running under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is accused of influencing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega to postpone the elections despite his statements on twitter that he was not forced to postpone the elections.
