Ruth Kadiri who was born March 24, is a Nollywood actress and a scriptwriter. Kadiri studied Business Administration and Mass Communication at the Yaba College of Technology and University of Lagos (UNILAG) respectively.
In 2013, Ruth Kadiri (AKA Puchu) was endorsed and certified as a great actress by actress Uche Jombo because of her script-writing skills and acting prowess.
Asides acting, the actress also dabbles into charity and started a charity foundation called Ruth Kadiri Kids.
Ruth Kadiri has cited as role models Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade Ekehinde, in Nollyood. and Melissa McCarty and Kevin Hart in Hollywood. She has said that they are really good at what they do and she looks forward to working with them some day.

Somkele also manages the fashion brand, Andrea Iyamah, which was founded by head designer, Dumebi Iyamah. She’s also actively involved with the Jim Ovia Foundation, as a co-ordinator.
She made her first TV debut in the series, The Island, directed by Tola Odunsi. Since the early days, she has worked alongside leading ladies, Rita Dominic and Osas Ighodaro in films. Somkele has featured in movies like “The Rose Garden” and “Special Situations”.
Her love for the acting was ignited after she starred in a school play, an adaptation of The Prodigal Son: The Clown. After graduating with a degree in Biochemistry from McMaster University, Canada, Somkele took a step into the arts, and hasn’t looked back since.
