Veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has called out 2baba for allegedly disrespecting veteran artistes.
Eedris Abdulkareem has in a new video addressed some issues which appears to be very painful to him. One of such issue is 2baba’s disrespect of veteran artistes.
Eedris Abdulkareem says, stating categorically that without them the well and doing artists of today won’t make that money they are making.
We made it all happen so you all came back to make money, so show some motherf**king respect fools,”
Eedris also slams and accuses him for disrespecting Daddy Showkey, labelling him as an ingrate; reminding him that Blackface wrote all his songs and should put himself to check. He continued his rant:
Who you be, you dey mad, you don forget say na Blackface dey write all your hits”, he says.

The ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner accuses 2Baba for chasing all the good people around him away and also for attempting to carry out a national protest without carrying along music veterans like him. He also suggested that as a writer of love songs, he doesn’t necessarily sing socially conscious music that qualifies him as a protest leader.
You go dey start protest, think say you fit do am alone, you don forget say what you do basically is love songs, dey impregnate people dey go.
Eedris Abdulkareem again cautions the young ones not to disrespect older colleagues because he and colleagues paved the way and paid the price for what they enjoy today.
Remember that Eedris Abdulkareem also called out Mavin boss, Don jazzy very recently. He did this during an interview with Hip TV, where he said that the Mavins boss had been stranded music wise, in London and only had his breakthrough after he returned to Nigeria.
Without the old artistes, the new artistes won’t make money, because we fought for the life that they are living right now.
We put food on their table because of what we fought for, and we are very happy, and that’s why we are legends, you understand. But if anyone of them tries to disrespect, we will put them back to where they belong.
All of them, from Don Jazzy and all of them, they lived in London, how come the British government never gave them the opportunity, they had to come to Nigeria because we made it happen.
