A girl is trending on social media after she called the bluff of her date by refunding his money. The guy who thought one date gave free passage to a relationship got taught a lesson.
Award winning comedian and philosopher Alibaba also weighed in on the trending photo. In a post on instagram, he lambasted the male gender and advised them to grow up.
Talking about the picture, he said:
The MENTALITY of our young men has to change. Agreed some may be a product of poor upbringing or absence of one, it becomes a problem when every lady the meet in their adult life has to deal with the consequences of that poor foundation. That is why you have young men who see nothing wrong with slapping a woman. Or bein vulgar in public spaces. Or respecting feminine opinion. Or working in subordinate positions to a woman. The age of maturity for most men has gone up to 45. Even that is not a guarantee. The obvious symptoms are poor communication skills, inferiority complex, unmerited ego, no future ambition, feeling of entitlement, (to what? I don’t know) joblessness, bad gang, vulgarity, uneducated minds, limited aspirations, influences of poor examples of men, lack of foresight, and total absence of a single grain of tolerance in their whole body and life.in the light of the aforementioned, how will a lady cope? So yes, you can not build on poor foundation. If you like reboot a Pentium 2 laptop… it will not run like a Core i7 system.

c.sypha: I do hope everybody understands that it is for both men and women, especially the part of self entitlement, everybody in my generation seems to think they are entitled to what ever they want, but would not blame them, I mean I remember what we were told growing up, Go to school get good grades and you will get a good job, well such notions tend to drive home a self entitlement attitude, I mean I have seen 24 year old men and 40 plus year boys, it’s the state of the mind it needs to change. Nobody owes you anything.
