Whatsapp has finally announced that their services can now be accessed and enjoyed with the aid of a PC. This is good news for people who are always on their laptops or computers and barely have time for their phones. The service is only available to Android users. Whatsapp said they could not extend the service to iOS devices as a result of what they called “Apple platform limitation”
The whatsapp web, the application that makes this new development easy, routes your whatsapp messages from your mobile phone to your PC and vice versa. In other words, you can start a conversation on your phone, continue it on your desktop when you get to office and then continue again on your phone when leaving.
So how do you use the Whatsapp Web client? TFJ explains;
“All you need is to first download the latest version of WhatsApp. After that, point your Chrome web browser on your desktop to the page at web.whatsapp.com and proceed by scanning the QR code that you see in the browser with your newly downloaded WhatsApp on your phone.”
