1 Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo was born into the family of Adeyemi Osinbajo on 8 March 1957, Creek Hospital, Lagos, Nigeria.
2 Yemi Osinbajo got his primary school education at Corona School. From 1969 to 1975, Osibajo attended Igbobi College Yaba where he won the following prizes: the State Merit Award 1971; the School Prize for English Oratory, 1972; Adeoba Prize for English Oratory 1972-75; Elias Prize for Best Performance in History (WASC) – 1973, School Prize for Literature (HSC), 1975; African Statesman Intercollegiate Best Speaker’s Prize, 1974.
3 In 1978, he graduated from the University of Lagos where he was awarded the Bachelor of Laws or LLB. In obtaining a Second Class Upper Degree, he received the Graham-Douglas Prize for Commercial Law.
4 In 1980, he attended the London School of Economics & Political Science, where he obtained a Master of Laws. He also did his National Youth Service with the Bendel Development and Planning Authority (BDPA) as a legal officer.
5 From 1981 to 1988, Osibajo was engaged by the University of Lagos as Lecturer. Later, he was was appointed as Special Adviser to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, (legal advice and litigation), Prince Bola Ajibola SAN.
6 From 1999 to 2007, he served as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice after Bola Ahmed Tinubu had just been elected as Governor of the State in May 1999.
7 Yemi Osibajo is married to Oludolapo Osibajo and they have three children.
8 The vice president declared his assets recently. He declared a four-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City in Lagos, three-bedroom flat in Ikoyi, Lagos, two bedroom flat at Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, two-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England.
