Vincent Enyeama may be absent in Saturday’s match against Tanzania because of family issues.
Vincent Enyeama, the goalkeeper of the Super Eagles, may miss the Tanzania Match. The Super Eagles is to clash with Tanzania National team on Saturday in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. The match will be played in a stadium in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
According to Complete Sports, Vincent Enyeama is the only player of the 24 invited for the key qualifier yet to arrive in camp.
Reports have it that Enyeama is having some family issues that may prevent him from featuring in the match. Reports have however failed to disclose the nature of the family issue.
Enyeama has family issues to deal with at the moment and he has been ruled out of the game.
Nonetheless, there is no official confirmation from the Nigerian Football Federation NFF yet. Coach Sunday Oliseh has vowed to secure a victory for the Super Eagles.
Also, Obafemi Martins, a Nigeria international footballer recently asked coach Oliseh to give him a chance to play for the country. Reports also have it that John Mikel Obi, a Nigeria midfielder, declined the offer to play in the match against Tanzania.
The Fans of the Nigerian Super Eagles are anxious and hopeful that the unavailability of Vincent Enyeama will not affect the team negatively. The fear is heightened by the fact that the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the last Nations Cup.
