Totteham left out Emmanuel Adebayor in the club’s Premier League squad.
Emmanuel Adebayor has been shunned Tottenham and his name was left out from the club’s Premier League squad for the rest of the year.
Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor (born 26 February 1984), known as Emmanuel Adebayor, is a Togolese professional footballer who plays as a forward for English club Tottenham Hotspur and the Togo national team. Adebayor previously played for Metz, Monaco, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester City. He was voted African Footballer of the Year for 2008.
Emmaneul Adebayor was supposed to be sold out but Tottenham were unable to find a buyer for the Togo international. Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino, rarely selects Adebayor for matches. He was also responsible for the recent move of excluding Adebayor from the squad.
According to reports, Adebayor has been redundant in the club for a while. Emmanuel Adebayor who reportedly earns £100,000-a-week ($152,000, €137,000), has also been left out of Tottenham’s Europa League squad.
