A pastor has been suspended for inviting the popular Fuji musician, Pasuma, as a guest artiste for a church crusade.
A pastor in a Redeemed Christian Church of God parish in Lagos has been suspended. The pastor was allegedly suspended for inviting the Fuji musician Pasuma, as a guest artiste.
The 3-day crusade was subsequently cancelled. According to reports the crusade was cancelled by orders from the church headquarters. The church authorities felt the idea to bring Pasuma and his fans to the church was not well conceived. A source claimed that the organizers of the crusade did not make adequate consultation before going ahead with the programme.
The source also disclosed that the pastor in charge of the church along with the organising committee has also been suspended. They now await sanction for dragging the name of the church into the mud.
Fans of Pasuma working in the place where the posters and fliers for the crusade were being made allegedly leaked them to the public.
