Leader of terrorist group, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (popularly and also known as ISIS), Jihadi John, revealed as Mohammed Emwazi is currently the most wanted man in the world for his barbaric execution of Western hostages and other related crimes.
Photos surfaced earlier on the internet showing a masked man dressed in all black holding a knife to the neck of a western hostage held in Syria. The man behind the mask has been identified as Mohammed Emwazi.
According to reports, Mohammed Emwazi is the eldest of six children, who ensured he looked good at all times and never had a criminal record till ISIS.
Over the years, following his graduation as a Computer Scientist from the University of Westminister in 2006, Mohammed transformed from being a gentle, kind and beautiful young man into an heartless killer who beheaded hostages including David Haines and Alan Henning. A video showing him perpetuating the act was released by ISIS.
A school friend of Mohammed Emwazi who would rather remain anonymous, described him in the following way;
“typical London boy who seemed nice, confident on how he carried himself but didn’t rally show himself off. He seemed like a down-to-earth person and humble. He liked football and was friends with everyone. All the Indian boys, all Pakistani boys, people from different religions, he spoke to everyone. I don’t think he was particularly religious at the time”
He went to say
“I’m just shocked that appears to be him. It’s just a 100 miles away from where I thought he’d be. It makes you wonder what can happen in the years when you don’t see these young people. It’s really scary. He was religious and I think as he got older he did become more devout. He would go the mosque and pray, but then a lot of kids did that. He was someone who would always seek the correct way of handling something. There was never any indication of violence at all”
Meanwhile, two British trainee medics who met Mohammed Mwazi earlier in Syria claimed he had a fearless attitude and was always ready for war.
