Cash Money sensation, Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. also known as Lil Wayne has dropped another bomb on Cash Money, this time suing the label for $51 million. He alleges that Cash Money CEO, Bryan Williams aka Birdman and the music company has held back substantial amount of money due him. The contention is the Lil Wayne’s yet-to-be-released album, Tha Carter V. He wants a ruling that will make him joint copyright holder of everything released on his own subsidiary of the business, Young Money, plus the works of Drake and Nicki Minaj.
The American rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur took to his twitter account, saying “I want off this label”. Again last week, he did a remix of “Shit” which TMZ reported to have contained these words, “Did my time at Cash Money, time served and released but this agent ain’t free, word, that’s the word on these streets.”
