Lagos State Chapter of APC, has asked the Igbo Business men in the state not to join any violent protest MASSOB is threatening to begin.
A stern warning has been issued to Igbo Business men in Lagos by the leading party in the State.
The All Progressive Congress, APC, has issued a stern warning to Igbo businessmen in Lagos State to desist from participating in any violent protest as threatened by MASSOB.
The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra and Indigenous people of Biafra, IBOP, have been revealed to be planning a violent protest and the State government will have none of it.
In a statement by the APC Lagos Publicity Secretary, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, it states that the State will not condone any violent protest.
The statement reads:
Will not hesitate to not only show such market leaders the exit from such markets but will take measures to ensure that such markets are not used as hatcheries for dangerous activities.
We warn every market leader to desist from acts or plots meant to weaken or compromise the security of Lagos as the state will henceforth take measures to ensure that any market that allows itself to be used as grounds for acts that compromise the security of the state will be thoroughly scrutinised to ensure bad eggs are forced out of such markets.
The All Progressive Congress, APC in Lagos, are bent on making the State a free and safe place for its citizens.
