One Lesson that Julius Agwu learnt from his ordeal with brain tumor is that there are no friends but only colleagues in showbiz.
Celebrated Nigerian comedian, Julius Agwu, who recently survived a brain tumor surgery, disclosed that there are no friends in the Nigerian showbiz industry, only colleagues.
Recalling his battle with brain tumor, he said that many Nigerians ignore regular medical check-up because they are more focused on how to make money.
Julius Agwu claimed that no price can be placed on good health as it serves as the basis of a productive life. The famous comedian also recounted how he was deserted by friends during his ordeal.
All we do is hustle, work, and some other things without bothering to check our health. I just realized from this experience that we are more of colleagues and not even friends because nobody really cares about you.
When it happens, it is just you and your family. I knew a lot of people who reached out to me and I appreciate them but really, it’s funny.
What are we really hustling for? The true joy is your happiness and family because that is what life is about. Just like all the people who stole money, how many would they spend? Once you die, that is the end.
Julius Agwu advised his fans to live their lives to the fullest, saying that we have only one opportunity to live.
