As part of his busy this period, the United States of America Secretary of State, John Kerry will be stopping by in Abuja, Nigeria to witness the inauguration of President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (Today is the last day Buhari will be addressed by the title, “General” according to a statement released by his party, APC many days ago).
The American Department of State also revealed that John Kerry will also be visiting Switzerland, Spain and France after Buhari‘s inauguration. The department revealed this when it tweeted;
En route to Nigeria, Switzerland, Spain, & France. @JohnKerry‘s first stop will be Abuja for Buhari‘s inauguration.
Today, Nigeria makes history as an incumbent president who accepts defeat is all set to hand over power to his challenger. The outgoing president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will officially hand over to Muhammadu Buhari who contested for the office of the president of Nigeria four times before eventually winning the election. John Kerry and other world leaders are very keen to see this history stamped.
