Beautiful Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon, recently revealed her reason for starring in more Yoruba movies than English ones.
Pretty South south Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon, has reveled her reason for actin more in Yoruba films than the English ones.
The actress who started her film career in the Yoruba movie ‘Oloju Ede’, said yoruba movie producers approach her more with work than their English counterpart. She insisted that it does’t mean the English movie directors do not approach her at all. She pointed out that she actually started work in the industry with three episodes in popular Wale Adenuga tv series ‘Papa Ajasco.’
I started up with ‘Papa Ajasco and Company’ and it was on that set that I got my first Yoruba script. Doing that, other roles started coming in even before I finish one, others would come again, so it is as the scripts come.
The actress however just returned from South Africa where she just finished filming the English movie, ‘Lincoln’s clan.’
Doris Simeon has won several awards since her tart in the movie industry to include AMMA Award for Best Iindigenous Actresses in 2008 for the movie ‘Onitemi.’ She is a mother of one and was formerly married to Daniel Ademinokan.
