The President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan met with Nigerian Youths last night in Eko hotel, Victoria island during an event tagged “Meet The President” which was organized by Participate, Vote, Country (PVC) members.
The event which was broadcasted live on NTA showed the President Goodluck Jonathan having an interactive session with about 5,000 Nigerian youths in Lagos.
The formal session took off at exactly 7:30pm. During informal session, questions thrown at the President by the youths included his favourite food, colour, daily schedules and so on.
Notable political faces seen at the event include Governor Segun Mimiko of Ondo State, Gbenga Daniel, Jimi Agbaje, Asari Doruko amongst others.
Artistes, Seyi Shay, Sean Tizzle, Oritsefemi, Orezi and Mo’Cheddah took to the stage to perform at the event. Popular Nigerian actress, Toyin Aimakhu also took to stage to show her support for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The actress put up quite an hilarious performance, she commented on her loyalty to PDP while on the stage in a memorable statement in yoruba “Mo le ku nitori PDP” meaning “I can die because of PDP“. During her performance on stage, she cracked a lot of jokes that got the audience laughing while referring to GEJ as daddy sevaral times.
Singer, Sean Tizzle also thrilled the attendees to an incredible performance while paying homage to the President and later threw all his accessories to the audienece during his performance.
