Freeze (born Ifedayo Olarinde) of Cool FM has reacted to the recent Walk Against Piracy protest organized by Nigerian Nollywood directors, producers and actors by dissing them over (allegedly) wearing “fake” products while posting a screenshot of a popular online shop, taafoo. The recently divorced OAP and father of two blasted the celebrities claiming they wear pirated clothes and turn around to complain about their works being pirated.
Celebrities marching against piracy yet they wear fake (Pirated) watches. Stop patronizing sites like these and maybe, just maybe they would stop pirating your movies and music.
Funny thing about piracy is that it only hurts when it’s been done to you! The same way it hurts when your material is being pirated is the same way it hurts #Rolex #FranckMuller #Cartier #Hublot #Panerai #Patek etc.
On Monday, several Nollywood actors visited the Governor of Lagos State seeking the intervention of his administration to help fight against piracy. The protest was led by famous movie producer and director, Tunde Kelani. Fashola promised that the Lagos State Government would do their best to help kick against piracy.
A lover of wristwatches, Freeze has been openly criticizing Taafoo for selling fake Rolex and other designer wristwatches (as low was N3,000) for over a week now.
