Following the rumoured impeachment letter served by Ekiti State House of Assembly to Governor Ayodele Fayose for gross misconduct, Fayose‘s supporters have invaded all roads leading to the Assembly complex where the members of House of Assembly are supposed to hold a meeting to begin the impeachment procedures for Fayose today. Several people and vehicles are seen on the road to avoid any form of movement by the House of Assembly members.
Mr Lere Olayinka, Fayose‘s media aide shared this information and photos via his official twitter account. He stated;
All roads leading to Ekiti State blocked!
Let Omirin and his APC jesters come to Ekiti and carry out their evil plot.
Ekiti workers to converge at d House of Assembly tomorrow in support of Gov Fayose
Make Omirin & his jesters dey come.
Reports surfaced last weekend that 19 out of 26 Ekiti State House of Assembly members served Ayo Fayose with an impeachment letter. The 19 members that are in the centre of the impeachment move are allegedly all members and faithfuls of the opposition party in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC).
