Yemisi Wada, the ex-wife of former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode, has disclosed that her father threatened to have her withdraw from her brief marriage to Fani-Kayode when he did not want her to work.
While having a conversation with Punch, Yemisi Wada said that her marriage to Femi Fani-Kayode has “no fond memories” for her and lasted for less than 3 years.
I have no fond memories of then except having my daughters, as I am sure he would say same if asked. What people do not seem to realize is that we were together for only a very short while. The marriage itself lasted less than three years. The fact that I have three daughters makes it seem longer but I left just when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter.
Yemisi Wada is a trained lawyer who has veered into film production and philanthropy. Femi Fani-Kayode is in a relationship with former Miss United Nations World, Precious Chikwendu. Yemisi Wada who just celebrated her 50th birthday has since remarried.
