British-Nigerian television presenter and model, Eku Edewor was accused of being a racist as a result of the recently released This Day Style photo shoots she did alongside Rapper, Lynxx. The photos which were shot on a beach shows Eku Edewor dressed in a white long gown alongside four young boys behind her. One of the boys can be seen holding an umbrella over her head while the other three boys are right behind with luggage in their arms.

The pictures which was released yesterday has sparked controversial rants on twitter with people claiming the image depicts racism, slavery and misrepresentation of what happens in Africa. Few hours later, Eku Edewor took to twitter to explain what the images truly represents. She said;
“An image depicts younger members of society helping a young bride as she walks the short distance to her new home.
“They carry small cases, some are relatives, wrapped in newly printed fabric to represent the brides family
“Other images reveal the beauty of our attire, our traditional dress, Jewelry and the beauty of our landscape.”
