A final year student of the Delta State University DELSU was caught with “expo” in her private part. Six other students were also caught with incriminating materials in the exam hall.
The alleged final year student was from the Department of Library and Information Science, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka.
A source disclosed the the student’s suspicious moves attracted attention to her. The invigilator accosted the lady but she denied that she was involved in any malpractice.
The girl denied and that led to a shouting match between the invigilator and the student.
It was later gathered that the examiner dipped his hands into her private part, and recovered the incriminating materials.
According to another source, she was given another booklet to start over again, but was caught again, 45 minutes later.
Educators have decried the high rate of examination malpractice in Nigerian institutions. They claim that it is disheartening that students hid incriminating materials in ridiculous places, even their private part. The authorities of Delta State University DELSU, has started taking disciplinary actions against students caught in exam malpractice.
