The Head Coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi is scheduled to appear before a Disciplinary Committee of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) today for an alleged attempt to breach a two year contract he signed in April to mind the Nigerian national football team.
Stephen Keshi is expected to explain why he has been shortlisted amongst the candidates who are scheduled for interview for the position of Cote d’Ivoire‘s National football team Head Coach.
Stephen Keshi however denied sending an application to them when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
I did not apply for anything. I don’t know how it managed to get there. I will appear before the committee to explain and there is no way it will deter me from serving my country or doing my job

The Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) is in the market for a new Head Coach to replace Herve Renard who moved to Ligue 1 side Lille OSC after winning the African Nations Cup. They claim that they received an application from Stephen Keshi amongst a total of other 58 contenders for the job and had him shortlisted.
