Mrs Chioma Amadi another resident of the area lamented the frequent occurrence of accident on the road.
This sort of accident used to happen here, and on some occasion lives are lost. A similar fatal accident happened here about four years ago which claimed the life of a polytechnic lecturer’s pregnant wife. But the government has failed to address our plight.
Many people have advised that such trucks carrying heavy duty containers should ply the road only at night. They have also cautioned trailer drivers to be more careful on the road.
