About 15 people including a policeman are feared dead and 78 others injured as Taliban suicide bombers targeted two packed churches during mass in Lahore, the capital of Punjab.
The suicide bombers aimed at the Roman Catholic Church and Christ Church in Youhanabad area during its regular Sunday mass.
The injured victims were taken to the Lahore’s General Hospital to receive proper and adequate treatment.
Reports gathered suggests that two suicide bombers carried out the attack, and one of the young men involved has been beaten to death by angry mob.
Youhanabad is Pakistan‘s biggest Christian locality, and we recall in 2013, twin suicide bomb attacks were carried out at the All Saint’s Church in Peshawar‘s Kohati Gate area, killing about 80 people and injuring over 100 others.
