Duchess Megan Markle Departs Hastily During Royal Market Tour In Fiji.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, England, are touring Oceania for 16 days.
The Duchess visited a market in Suva, Fiji capital, to meet female stall owners involved in a UN Women Project called “Market For Change”.
While greeting people, onlookers said she “looked concerned” and was not acting like her “normal self”.
She was taken away by her security aides after whispering into an aide”s ear.
She stayed for 8 minutes out of the scheduled 15minutes visit before leaving with her security aides.
When asked, officials said they cut short the scheduled visit over the “security risk” with a royal aide saying it was “hot, humid and uncomfortably busy”.
Since their wedding in May, this will be their first oversea tour together.
The 16 days trip started in Australia and the couple will also visit Tonga and New Zealand.
