A zookeeper is dead after a rare white tiger mauled and killed him at a zoological park in Japan.
The 40 year-old experieneced zookeeper, Akira Furusho, was found unconcious with injuries to his neck at Hirakawa zoological park. The incident happened in Kagoshima on Monday evening. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead almost immediately.
There is ongoing investigation about the incident.
Four white tigers inside the zoo were sedated with a tranquilizer gun during rescue mission.
