MI Agaba has lashed out at Femi Fani-Kayode for the comments the latter made about the kidnap of Chief Olu Falae.
Popular Nigerian rapper, MI Agaba , has lambasted the famous politician and critic, Femi Fani Kayode, for his recent utterance on the kidnap of Chief Olu Falae.
Former Secretary of the Federal Government, Chief Olu Falae, was reportedly kidnapped by Fulani Herdsmen at his farm, who are now demanding for N100m ransom before the politician is released.
In reaction to the incident, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, claimed that the Federal Government should be held responsible for the kidnap. He also threatened the Federal government to produce the kidnapped statesman or face severe consequences.
In response to his comment and threat, Chocolate City rapper MI Abaga, lashed out at Fani Kayode. He called the former minister a “joker”. MI took to his Twitter handle to lambaste the politician.
You Mr FFK are a joker.. Instead of being prayerful and hopeful for a statemans life you are making threats against our government.. Please! — jude abaga (@MI_Abaga)
Chief Falae was reportedly abducted from his farm in Ilado village, Akure North, Ondo state, by suspected Fulani herdsmen, numbering over 20.
The Ondo State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria have pledge to leave no stone unturned to free Chief Falae from his abductor and arrest the kidnappers.
Did Chocolate City charge for conspicuously showing Star and First Bank in MI’s Bullion Van video or is it another “accidental” showing of brands without payment?
First Bank and Star seem to have been given more than an accidental showing in the music video of Bullion Van by MI Abaga featuring Phyno, Runtown and Stormrex. The two brands got a very deliberate showing in the over 4 minutes music video, suggesting to the observant eye that Chocolate City may have been paid to make that happen.
It is very common to see brands “showing” carelessly in Nigerian music. For example, while almost all Nigerian musicians sang songs about Hennessy, only very few actually got paid to promote it. We are not even sure if Olu Maintain got a dime! Tiwa Savage mentioned Gala (made by UAC of Nigeria Plc) on Mavin Records Music crew collaboration, Looku Looku. We are quite sure they didn’t get paid for that.
… but this one on Bullion Van seem very calculated. Chocolate City may have shown off MI’s Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and Bentley for “Swag” sake, there is no way these two brands would have added to that “swag” show. Being an internationally minded firm of veteran businessmen, they would have used Citigroup or Bank of America in the place of First Bank. They would have simply used a drink like the Martell which MI flaunted when he posted a photogragh he captioned:
Not everyday Christian swag…Some days dress like Mexican Drug Cartell King and swag out.. Gucci feet, Martel Drink #BullionVan video out.. #CBN #BeatOfLagos
Or were they just cameo appearances?
Cameo appearances in the Bullion Van video include Made Men Music Group’s Iyanya, Choc City’s Ice Prince and Victoria Kimani. Also featured in the video is Nollywood Francis Odega whose “Gerarahia” video clip has gone so viral that American rapper 50 Cents had to share it on Instagram.
It will not be surprising if First Bank and Nigerian Breweries (makers of Star) actually paid to appear on the Bullion Van video. After all, Chocolate City is revolutionizing the way music business is done in Nigeria and Africa. Click here to pay the video.

Popularly acclaimed best rapper in Africa, MI Abaga has declared that he has no chance with beautiful music video director, Kemi Adetiba. The Chocolate City CEO who recently took over from Audu Maikori stated this as he posted a photograph of Kemi and himself, captioning it;
The beautiful Kemi Adetiba.. I know I got no chance with her … But didn’t stop me from acting like I was all up on that in the picture.
It is not very clear yet why MI Abaga made that statement. After all, they are both single. But is is possible that either or both of them are dating or engaged in some relationship. MI has never really displayed any lady on any social media platform. He’s all work and music; at least on the social media!
Kemi Adetiba on the other hand is a fun loving, travelling showbiz woman who would have made a very wonderful partner for MI Abaga were she not beyond his reach. Remember he said he got no chance with her… lol.

However, most of MI‘s fans are not in support of his involvement in politics in this way. One of them said MI had said in a show hosted by On Air Personality, Toolz that he will not advertise for any politician.
I know what am saying. For @mi_abaga he once told us all when @Toolz of beatfm asked him if heis going to do any advert for any politician and @mi_abaga replied her saying that his music and his personality has nothing to do with any politician, that politicians do promise and fail…. @mi_abaga bros you just screwed us all…. #BankAlert I guess
