Ex-special aide to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has expressed his grievances against the Buhari Administration by saying Former President, GEJ did a better job.
Reno Omokri who made this known on a facebook post said the Buhari-led administration is causing Nigerians more pain than the previous governments.
On his Facebook wall, Omokri said: “In 2010, Gallup polls rated Nigeria under Goodluck Jonathan as the ‘happiest nation on earth.
We are rated 6th happiest in Africa! In 2014, Nigeria under Jonathan had her best improvement in Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, moving from 144 to 136.
We have not made any improvements under the so called anti-corruption administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
You can fool gullible Nigerians, but you can’t fool the world. GEJ fired any of his ministers involved in conflict of interest not to talk of corruption including Professor Barth Nnaji and Stella Oduah.
PMB on the other hand prefers to write letters defending his own SGF caught RED HANDED in grass cutting corruption. And you are here still being deceived that there is an anti corruption war in Nigeria. I am sorry for you!”
Reno Omokri further buttressed his point saying: “That Nigerians believed APC’s lies proves we are more malleable than an amoeba. A woman who believes everyman ends up with unwanted pregnancies.”
“Where is your $1 to ₦1? Where is your ₦40 per liter petrol? Where is your job seekers allowance? Where is your uninterrupted power? Where is the President that promised to lead from the front? Where is the 740k “immediate relief jobs for graduates”? Where is the three million jobs in three years?
But the real question though is where is your brain if you actually believed these?

Faith Edwards has give birth to Goodluck Jonathan’s grand daughter. The baby was born in the US
The first daughter of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Faith Edwards has delivered a baby girl. The child who has been christened Princess Eliana Godswill Edward was (according to rumours) born on 23rd September 2015. Goodluck Jonathan’s Grand Daughter was born in the United States of America.
Recall that Faith got married to her heartthrob, Godswill Osim Edward in April 2014. Earlier this year, during their first wedding anniversary, Faith Edwards reportedly shared a collage of her wedding photos. She captioned it;
It’s amazing looking back and knowing dat we are one year old. I love U my sunshine,sweetheart,king,hero, heartbeat, words are not enough to describe my feelings for you and I pray that God keeps us alive (and in love), to see our cute great grand children…
Congratulations to Faith Edward, her husband and the Jonathans. See a photo of Dr. & Mrs. Goodluck Jonathan with Faith during her traditional marriage in Bayelsa below.
Queen Zainab Duke-Abiola, one of the wives of the late politician, Chief MKO Abiola has stated that a former female minister in GoodluckJonathan‘s government actually stole $9.3billion contrary to the quoted amount of $6billion by Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
Recall that Adams Oshiomhole made strong claims earlier on that the minister in question stole $6billion and also said she stole $1billion for the reelection of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. From Queen Zainab Duke-Abiola‘s statements, the stolen money is actually $9.3billion.
Queen Zainab Duke-Abiola who is the Akasoba of Kalabari land in the Niger Delta claims that she has a relationship of over 30 years with the White House. In her chat with The Nation, she said if President Muhammadu Buhari should go back to Washington DC to confirm her claims.
According to the information available to us, the minister stole more than $9 billion, not Australian dollars, but US dollars. And what I am saying is that the money should be used to develop the Niger Delta. Use this to help the impoverished Niger Deltans. My relationship with White House is over 30 years. Americans are very eager to make sure that the money gets back. They want Nigeria to use that money for education.
Oshiomhole said it’s about $6 billion. Information available to me states that the minister and her associates siphoned away $9.3 billion. I’m watching the game that they’re playing. If they don’t publish the evidence, I have document to support this. If Buhari is not sure of his fact and figures, he should go back to Washington DC. If I read in the papers that they say $9 billion, I would keep quiet. But why are they saying only $6 billion?”
Recall that Queen Zainab Duke-Abiola paid N2million for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s nomination form to contest the 2015 Presidential election but was denied the opportunity because the party claimed that they printed only one form for its sole candidate, Goodluck Jonathan. Can this be payback time?
Former INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega who retired from heading the electoral umpire days ago has resumed as a lecturer in the department of political science, Bayero University Kano today. See pictures below…
Professor Jega is a former vice-chancellor of Bayero University before he was appointed as an INEC Chairman in 2010 by former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
A controversial political group, Peoples’ Democratic Party Media Watchdog which claims to be an affiliate group of the former ruling party, has released a statement issued by one Tunde Lawal has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign due to limitations his old age might cause him in the course of fulfilling his promises to Nigerians. The Peoples’ Democratic Party has however denied the group in a statement issued by its publicity secretary, Olisa Metuh yesterday evening. He said,
This group is absolutely unknown to the PDP and has no connection whatsoever with our party at any level, neither is the content of their statement a reflection of the position or stance of the party.For the avoidance of doubt, our great party has not authorized this group to use its name, acronym or logo to issue statements or make public pronouncements on any matter and we caution those behind them to henceforth desist from such immediately. The PDP therefore distances itself from the embarrassing statement by this group wherein it called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign and went ahead to use offensive and denigrating language on the person and office of the President of our great country.
This is completely unacceptable and against the posture of the PDP to engage only on robust and credible opposition while constructively offering alternatives to the programmes and policies of the APC-led government, preparatory to our return to power in the next four years.
We note with dismay that the attitude of this group is a direct consequence of the approach adopted by the APC in denigrating and insulting our immediate-past President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
Though we know that former President Jonathan suffered such fate in the hands of the APC, we shall not repay them in the same coin as such is not part of our tradition and value as a party.
Furthermore, recall that the PDP had earlier informed the public and the media that only statements issued by the National Chairman, the National Secretary, the National Publicity Secretary or any other officer of the party authorized by the National Working Committee (NWC) should be regarded or reported as the position of the PDP on any matter.
In this regard, any group or individuals seeking to use the identity of the PDP on any issue should approach the leadership for authorization. We urge the media and the general public to be guided by this always.
Members of Cabinet in the administration of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan have begun to return looted funds. The information was disclosed on Monday to journalists during an interview with the new Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.
The former Federal Capital Territory Minister however did not disclose the identity of those who have returned looted government funds.
This is in accordance with the president earlier call for those who have stolen from the government to return what they have stolen. Recall that Kenneth Gbagi, a former Minister of State for Education declared at the beginning of this month that the President Buhari does not have any right to pardon anyone but to go after them and jail them.
As part of his busy this period, the United States of America Secretary of State, John Kerry will be stopping by in Abuja, Nigeria to witness the inauguration of President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (Today is the last day Buhari will be addressed by the title, “General” according to a statement released by his party, APC many days ago).
The American Department of State also revealed that John Kerry will also be visiting Switzerland, Spain and France after Buhari‘s inauguration. The department revealed this when it tweeted;
En route to Nigeria, Switzerland, Spain, & France. @JohnKerry‘s first stop will be Abuja for Buhari‘s inauguration.
Today, Nigeria makes history as an incumbent president who accepts defeat is all set to hand over power to his challenger. The outgoing president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will officially hand over to Muhammadu Buhari who contested for the office of the president of Nigeria four times before eventually winning the election. John Kerry and other world leaders are very keen to see this history stamped.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan today said he hopes his wife, the current/outgoing first lady Patience Jonathan does not divorce him for conceding defeat in the last presidential elections the way the wife of former South African leader F.W. de Klerk left him after he abolished minority rule in South Africa.
Read the transcript of Goodluck Jonathan‘s speech below.
I believe there are reasons for everything. Some hard decisions have their own cost. That I have ran the government this way that stabilized certain things, the electoral process and other things that brought stability into this country. They were very costly decisions which I must be ready to pay for. Some people come to me and say this or that person is he not your friend that benefited? Is it not your government that this person benefited from? But this is what the person is saying. But I used to say worse statements will come. If you take certain decisions, you should know that those close to you will even abandon you at some point. And I tell them that more of my so-called friends will disappear. When F.W de Klerk took the decision to abolish minority rule in RSA, even his wife divorced him. I hope my wife will not divorce me. But that is the only decision that has made RSA to still remain a global player time. If we still had that minority rule there, by this time, nobody will be talking about RSA. If you take certain decisions, it might be good for the generality of the people but it might affect people differently. So for ministers and aides who served with me, I sympathize with them, they will be persecuted. And they must be ready for that persecution.
Very few of those in my age brackets have been that lucky. All through my education were on government scholarships. I have not suffered lack not because I’m hard-working but by God’s grace. When I look at the whole picture of my life up to when I became the president of this country. And I say that if soldiers and police officers that have not received 0. 5 per cent of the benefits that I have received from the state can lay their lives for this country, I should do anything in the interest of Nigeria including paying the supreme price. As long as live, I will continue to do my best for the state because the state has helped me as a person. I have to thank Nigerians especially my state for giving me the opportunity to serve as deputy governor and the whole country gave me the opportunity to serve as Vice President and then president, first was to complete the tenure of the late president and later serve as president from which I am exiting now as a very happy and fulfilled man.
President Goodluck Jonathan who contested the last presidential elections under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) called his opponent, General Muhammadu Buhari to congratulate him on his victory at the polls before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) pronouced Buhari the winner.

In 1984 fertilizer corruption was massive. Subsidized fertilizers from Nigeria were stolen & smuggled off to Niger. Who was in charge then?

Because of their sacrifice in securing our nation, we can all be confident to come out and vote our conscience all over the federation. Let Omirin and his APC jesters come to Ekiti and carry out their evil plot.

The 19 members that are in the centre of the impeachment move are allegedly all members and faithfuls of the opposition party in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC).
There is news currently circulating on the social media about former Avaition Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode turning against President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan after he conceded to General Muhammadu Buhari. As you already know, Femi Fani-Kayode worked as the Media Director of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization. The information about Fani-Kayode turning against President Jonathan an edited version of an old story which some bloggers have copied, doctored and published.
The original story published by Premium Times on 25th April, 2013 was titled “Fani-Kayode blasts Jonathan; says President is leaving legacy of “destruction and disaster””. The story has been hijacked by bloggers and unsuspecting Nigerians have reacted to the story in many ways.
On the contrary Femi Fani-Kayode released a press statement some days ago where he said
We start by saying that we commend and we congratulate General Muhammadu Buhari for winning this election. We also wish to commend our President, President Goodluck Jonathan, for having the courage to concede that he has lost the election at the earliest moment and also for being able to stand up and rise above party politics and being able to speak like a statesman. May God grant each and everyone of us peace. May He watch over our nation. May He guide our President for the next two months whilst he is still in power and thereafter and may He guide and lead the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, in the herculean task that lies ahead for him.

Former Niger Delta Minister, Godsday Orubebe has apologized for his unruly act and misconduct during the 2015 Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Presidential elections result collation meeting in Abuja yesterday. Orubebe, who created an uproar during the meeting spoke to reporters last night and apologized to Nigerians while explaining that his behaviour was as a result of his love for his political party, PDP.
Elder PeterGodsday Orubebe said;
Election is a passionate thing and I really regret what took place this morning. I was unnecessarily pushed by Jega to get to that level. I want to apologise particularly to young Nigerians that look up to take politics as a career to say that what happened was not intended to cause them any embarrassment.
To Nigerians generally, I regret my actions as even an elder in the church, and a leader, the young men expected to see a lot from me and I believe that if there was any disappointment they got from me I apologize to Nigerians and to the youths of this country.
On Jonathan congratulating Buhari;
Two things are in place. The president is the president of everybody. As a statesman and as a president; he has done what he should do.
I cannot decide for the PDP. It is a large family. We were sent on an errand to come back to report. We will go and report to the party and the party will take the necessary action it has to take.
You remember what happened in Ekiti’s governorship election when the governor congratulated his opponent and the party went back and said this is what they have seen. The candidate is not the party, he is a candidate and he has acted very well as a statesman, and as the president, the father of all. For us, we are agents to be here to see what transpired here and give report to them.
Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose hascongratulated thepresident-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. In a statement released by Fayose‘s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, MrLere Olayinka; Fayose praised the devotion and strength of President Goodluck Jonathan and Mohammadu Buhari.

I salute Nigerians, especially the great people of Ekiti State. I salute President Jonathan for laying the most solid foundation for democracy in Nigeria. And I salute Major General Buhari for being a resilience and dogged fighter.
I urge Nigerians, irrespective of their ethic, religious and political affiliation to respect the outcome of the election in the interest of peace, progress and development of the country.
Nigeria as a country is greater than any individual or group and it is my plea that no one should do anything to rock the boat of peace in the country.
As the votes collated nationwide have indicated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Mohammadu Buhari is the clear winner of the 2015 Presidential elections, APC supporters have taken to the streets to celebrate the victory. This is the first time an incumbent president is losing to his opponent in the history of Nigeria.
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has reportedly called General Muhammadu Buhari to congratulate him ahead of the final announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega. View the photographs below;
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reportedly lost election in the Aso Villa polling unit and in the polling units of many of his top men including Minister of Federal Territory, Bala Mohammed; Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau; and Senator Musiliu Obanikiro, amongst others.
So far, reports reaching us indicate that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is already leading in most polling units in Lagos, showing that the presidential flag-bearer of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari may definitely win the state.
It is still too early to draw conclusions on the elections as the elections continue today.
