In a major Supreme Court case, the justice department has sided with a baker in Colorado who stood his ground against making a wedding cake for a gay couple
The baker, Jack Phillips was said to have violated the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. This was by refusing to make a cake for Charlie Craig and David Mullins, a gay couple in 2012. He didn’t do it because it violated his religious beliefs.
On the case, the government under Trump administration sided with Phillips. They said that it was his choice to decide what he used his talents to do without compulsion.
It’s not news that ever since emerging winner of the US presidential elections, Donald Trump has made moves to block transgender from serving in the military.. His position on the issue is quite clear.
