Buhari Believes ECOWAS Can’t Use Single Currency

President Buhari has stated that he believes that the members of ECOWAS can’t use single currency

Buhari made this statement in the wake of the plan by ECOWAS to implement the system.

He urged the community to tread carefully and consider the difficulties faced by the EU who has same agenda.

The Nigerian president highlighted some of the challenges that the move might face. One among them was the diverse and uncertain macro-economic fundamentals of many countries.

Apart from that, he also cited the inconsistency with the African monetary co-operation program as a major challenge.

In a written statement, he said:

“Nigeria advises that we proceed cautiously with the integration agenda, taking into consideration the above concerns and the lessons currently unfolding in the European Union. To that end, Nigeria will caution against any position that pushes for a fast-track approach to monetary union, while neglecting fundamental and other pertinent issues.”

Patience Jonathan To Buhari – Trump Didn’t Go After Obama’s Wife

patience jonathan

Former First Lady Patience Jonathan had appealed to President Buhari to tell the EFCC boss to let her be. According to her, Trump didn’t go after Obama’s wife

In a statement sent to TheCable on Monday, chief press secretary to Patience Jonathan, Belema Meshack-Hart said:

We believe that she is being systematically persecuted and punished. Because of her unflinching support for her husband during the 2015 elections.

President Buhari should be reminded that his wife also supported him in all the elections he contested against her husband, former President Jonathan. But Dr. Jonathan did not at any point in time, carry out personal vendetta or go after Buhari’s wife

That is the standard practice in all democracies around the world. For instance, Michelle Obama campaigned vigorously for her husband’s party during their last Presidential election, But we are yet to see President Donald Trump move against her

One thing is clear: No matter what they do to Mrs. Jonathan, she will continue to stand by her husband. The father of her children, even if it means paying the supreme price with her life.

The ex-First lady said that she was the most vilified first lady in the history of Nigeria. She3 accused Magu, acting chairman of EFCC of desecrating the image of the presidency. ‘

We implore President Buhari to call Magu and his goons to order. So he does not further defile and do more damage to the dignity of the seat of the nation’s President.

The seat of the President of any country is sacred and the occupant must be respected. As a former First Lady, Mrs. Jonathan has been falsely called all manner of names, including drug peddler, by Magu’s well-oiled propaganda machinery.

President Muhammadu Buhari Fires Perm Secretary Who Used 500 Companies To Award Contracts To Himself

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the sack of a Permanent Secretary who used more than 500 companies to award contracts to himself.

According to Linda Ikeji’s blog, the offending public service official, who hasn’t yet been named, was sacked on Tuesday, March 21, on the orders of President Muhammadu Buhari.

We have been monitoring the man and the various companies being used by him to siphon huge sums of money from the ministry, which handles intervention programmes in the Niger Delta region but he has been very smart and suspicious of our movement, thereby making it impossible for us to arrest him despite the ambush we laid for him and his cronies,” a source told Vanguard.
But Mr. President did not waste time in asking the Head of Service of the Federation to sack the man with immediate effect as soon as he got to know that the man had used over 500 companies to award fake contracts to himself and move huge sums of money from the ministry in question.
In fact, the discovery of the large scale fraud in the ministry, which has suffered a lot of project failure and the subsequent sacking of the permanent secretary by Mr. President, followed painstaking investigation by the anti-corruption agencies, which will soon charge the man to court. the source added.

GEJ Was A Better President Than Buhari- Reno Omokri

Ex-special aide to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has expressed his grievances against the Buhari Administration by saying Former President, GEJ did a better job.

Reno Omokri who made this known on a facebook post said the Buhari-led administration is causing Nigerians more pain than the previous governments.

On his Facebook wall, Omokri said: “In 2010, Gallup polls rated Nigeria under Goodluck Jonathan as the ‘happiest nation on earth.

We are rated 6th happiest in Africa! In 2014, Nigeria under Jonathan had her best improvement in Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, moving from 144 to 136.

We have not made any improvements under the so called anti-corruption administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

You can fool gullible Nigerians, but you can’t fool the world. GEJ fired any of his ministers involved in conflict of interest not to talk of corruption including Professor Barth Nnaji and Stella Oduah.

PMB on the other hand prefers to write letters defending his own SGF caught RED HANDED in grass cutting corruption. And you are here still being deceived that there is an anti corruption war in Nigeria. I am sorry for you!”

Reno Omokri further buttressed his point saying: “That Nigerians believed APC’s lies proves we are more malleable than an amoeba. A woman who believes everyman ends up with unwanted pregnancies.”

“Where is your $1 to ₦1? Where is your ₦40 per liter petrol? Where is your job seekers allowance? Where is your uninterrupted power? Where is the President that promised to lead from the front? Where is the 740k “immediate relief jobs for graduates”? Where is the three million jobs in three years?

But the real question though is where is your brain if you actually believed these?

APC Hail President Buhari For Fulfilling His N5,000 Promise To 1 Million Poor Nigerians

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday, hailed president Buhari for keeping to the party’s campaign promise.

Via a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, and made available to journalists in Abuja:

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) commends the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for fulfilling the promise the party made to Nigerians during the 2015 general election campaigns that safety nets will be provided to vulnerable Nigerians.
“The party notes that with the commencement of payment of N5,000 to one million poor Nigerians through the Conditional Cash Transfer scheme of the government, the Buhari administration has demonstrated its commitment to the party’s change manifestoes which is couched on true transformation.
“We recall that as part of its Social Investment Programme (SIP), the government has begun implementing three other major campaign promises of the party designed to provide jobs and lift the most vulnerable Nigerians out of poverty. These include: the N-Power Volunteer Corps which will provide jobs to 500,000 young Nigerian graduates; the National Homegrown Feeding Programme which has commenced in selected states, and the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), which provides soft loans ranging from N10,000 to 100,000 to artisans, traders and market women, among others.
“The APC views these achievements as historic and unprecedented in the history of Nigeria even as it assures Nigerians that the government is committed and working hard to make significant progress on the economy, and other sectoral areas.
“The party acknowledges that the past year was a tough one for Nigerians occasioned by the economic recession but have confidence in the ability of President Buhari to design programmes and policies that will provide succor to the masses.
“We urge Nigerians to continue to support and pray for the President Buhari-led administration so that our dream of a more prosperous, secure and stable nation will be achieved.

The same cabal hijacked Goodluck Jonathan administration, an easy going man who was never wired for treachery and evil, in fact that one personally confessed to me himself that he is under siege by the Cabal. People, there is fire on the mountain o!!!!!!

As far as I’m concerned if Buhari is not in charge, then who the heck is in charge of this derailing ship called Nigeria.
I know that it is very lonely at the top. If you’re a family man, you know how easy or difficult it is in running your family how much more a country/nation as big as Nigeria.

Our leaders know they are ultimately responsible for the lives and fortunes of the people and If they fail, many of us will get poorer, suffer and die for nothing. They often deny the burdens and loneliness of leadership, thereby becoming incapable of facing reality, they tune down their inner voice, because it is too painful to confront or even acknowledge it; it may, however, appear in their dreams as they try to resolve conflicts rustling around inside their heads, cabinet or homes, therefore , their work and function derails and personal lives get out of balance. They lose touch with those closest to them̬ like their spouses, children, and best friends who can no longer synchronise their points of view and they eventually  lose their capacity to think logically about important issues. Long and short, the country and its people suffer, especially the poor masses. My people, look at Us now. Hummmmm!!!

I dont believe that our First Lady, Aisha is crazy, unhinged or trying to sabotage her husband’s efforts, rather I see her as a woman who is frustrated in trying to communicate with her husband, for the full article use http://charlyboy.me/first-lady-sting/

Read Washington’s Post On Buhari’s Comment On His Wife

washington post

After President Buhari made the incredible statement that his wife belonged in the kitchen all the way from Germany, read what Washington Post wrote about him

It seems that President Buhari has found more ways than one of making Nigeria a hot topic for other countries to discuss; from ‘Fantastically corrupt’ and now this. Read what Washington post wrote about Nigeria and it’s President:

If you think Donald Trump has problems, consider those of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari. Elected last year as a no-nonsense candidate to clean up Africa’s biggest democracy, his popularity has fallen amid various spiraling crises — a faltering economy, a deadly insurgency, a devastating famine. And now, even his wife is skeptical.

In an interview with the BBC’s Hausa language service, Nigerian first lady Aisha Buhari suggested that she might not back her husband’s potential reelection in 2019 if he didn’t shake up his government. Without naming names, she said a whole host of people in senior ministerial posts didn’t share her husband’s values or the vision of the ruling party. The first lady’s admission reinforces accusations made by critics that Buhari’s government has been hijacked by a cabal operating behind the scenes.

The president does not know 45 out of 50 of the people he appointed and I don’t know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years,” she said. “Some people are sitting down in their homes folding their arms only for them to be called to come and head an agency or a ministerial position.

According to the BBC, some in Nigeria speculate that the first lady went this route after her own chosen figures did not win the posts they desired in government. Whatever the case, it deepens the gloom around Buhari’s presidency, which he won in part on a platform that promised an end to nepotism and cronyism in the country.

Then came Buhari’s response. Speaking to reporters while on a trip to Germany, the Nigerian president offered up a tasteless jibe: “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room,” he said.

His remarks were made in front of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who according to reports, glared and then, briefly, laughed.
