The legendary Marvel Comic writer is dead.

Stanley Lieber also known as Stan lee died of Pneumonia on Monday, 12 November, 2018 at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California.

The deceased started his career in 1939 as an assistant in Timely Comic Publications and later rose to become an editor, then a publisher and lastly a Chairman when Timely Comic changed its name to Marvel Entertainment Inc. in 1961.

He co-created famous fictional comics characters such as Spider man, The Fantastic Four, X-men, Justice League, Black Panther, Daredevil, Iron man and Thor with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.

Stan revolutionized the comic industry by being the first comic writer to attach human personalities to his superheroes characters.

He was a tireless promoter of Marvel Comics and his brands. In 2001, He founded POW! entertainment, in 2012, his YouTube channel ‘Stan Lee’s World of Heroes’ was launched.   while in 2015, he released his book ‘Zodiac’ and a film ‘Stan Lee’s Annihilator’.

He has received the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame(1994), Jack Kirby Hall of Fame Award (1995) and National Medal of Arts Award (2008).
