Simisola Finally Drops Her Sophomore Album


Nigerian singer cum sound engineer, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye popularly known as ‘Simi’ has dropped her sophomore album titled ‘Simisola’

The album was officially released on the 08th September 2017, across various music platforms. The excited singer, Simisola took to Instagram at the stroke of midnight to announce the arrival of her new album.

She wrote:

#SIMISOLA Out Now! On all platforms (iTunes, AppleMusic, Deezer, Spotify, Cloud9 etc…) ❤️

‘Simisola’ the album, contains 15 songs in total and has Adekunle Gold ( her rumoured lover) as the guest artiste. The album includes her three bonus tracks.

The songs in the album include: Remind me, Joromi, Aimasiko, Complete me, Gone for good, Original Baby, One kain, Take Me Back ft Adekunle Gold, O Wa N’be, Smile For Me, Angeline, and Hip-hop Hurray. Love Don’t Care, Jamb Question and Tiff are the bonus tracks.

This is her first full album since she joined X3M music owned by Steve Babaeko in 2014. Her debut album ‘Ogaju’ was released in 2006, at a time when she still sang the gospel genre of music.

Seyi Keyz, Sess, VTek each produced a song on the album project while Oscar who produced Joromi worked on all the other songs.

Since signing with X3M Music, the singer has released several hit songs and has also put out a joint EP ‘Chemistry’ with Falz.
