PSG has joined Barcelona in the race for Philippe Coutinho
Philippe Coutinho is unarguably one of the hottest players in the global transfer market today.
The 25 year old Liverpool midfielder, who was heavily linked to Barcelona during the pre season, might just be joining the world’s most expensive player in Paris Saint Germaine.
Barcelona failed to close the deal despite the fact that the player actually wanted to join the Spanish side because after their record sale of Neymar, every club they approached for business, wanted to have their share of the cake.
It is reported that the Spanish giant made three offers one of which was a mouth watering one hundred and fourteen million pounds with added benefits but the English sides held their ground and even went as far as ruling out a sale even when Philippe Coutinho handed a transfer request late in the window in a futile attempt to force the move.
Well, Barcelona had better put on their boxing gloves as PSG who ripped them of their superstar and potential Messi replacement might just be ripping them off of their golden pursuit.
According to complete sport: “The Parisans, who added Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to their squad for the 2017-18 campaign, are said to be willing to pay an estimated one hundred and thirty five million pounds to land a player who still has five years left to run on his existing deal.
