Nigerian oil billionaire, Femi Otedola, endorses Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, for a second term.
Chief Femi Otedola, the chairman of Forte oil, founder of Zenon petroleum and Gas ltd, called out lagosians and solicited for Ambode’s vote due to the great improvement of Lagos state under his administration. The billionaire said that Lagos will have the third most largest economy in Africa, if Ambode is voted back into power again. He further stated that Ambode has worked immensely in ensuring and re-establishing good social amenities such as building roads and bridges, schools, schools and hospitals, water treatment plants, sewage and storm water drainage, solid waste management plants and mass transport infrastructure. Following the foundations laid by his predecessors on the state’s transformation projects.
Otedola recalled that Ambode has gotten the approval for the power systems in Lagos, which when fully executed, will make the state energy independent and also the first to comply with the climate change global agenda of de-carbonisation . He further stated that Ambode is concerned with the technological development of the state and urged fellow lagosians to cast their votes in the coming election
“A good government is a reflection of an efficient and responsive bureaucracy. It is the catalytic driver for private sector growth. A bad and weak bureaucracy will produce nothing for the people,” he said.
