Super Eagles boss: Gernat Rohr has said that his target for the world cup is to reach the 2nd round.
Gernat Rohr has opened up on his plans for the world cup.
In an interview with Richard Jideaka, he said that he hopes for an easy draw and also reach 2nd round. He also prayed for a combination of hard work and good luck to achieve his goals.
When asked about his hopes, he said:
“If you have to do something well, you have to prepare well. If we get the best preparation without the problems of no money, no bonus and allowance, late planning and other related issues, we’ll go to the world cup with big dreams. We don’t need distraction to succeed. I trust my president (Amaju Pinnick) to ensure that everything is in place before the world cup.
When asked about his target for the world cup, he had this to say:
“My target is first to get drawn in a soft and not too difficult group. The second target is to come out of the group. If we reach the last 16 which had been previously achieved, it will be wonderful. Let us see the draws first.”
