The Federal Government has concluded that it can afford nothing more than N25,000 per month as new minimum wage.
The organized labor and Organized Private Sector [OPS] have refused the figures offered by the Federal Goverment. They are insisting on N30,000 minimum wage per month.
This is after the negotiation by the tripartite committee on a new national minimum wage.
The government had initially presented N21,700 per month as new minimum wage to other social partners when the tripartite committee resumed negitiation on Thursday, October 4.
