British journalist, Piers Morgan, invites US President Donald Trump to replace Wenger as Arsenal manager.

Piers believes that if Donald Trump replace Wenger, he would build a ‘strong defensive wall’ for Arsenal.

In an exclusive interview with the US President on Twitter, Piers shared a photo of himself holding an Arsenal shirt with the name ‘Trump’ on the back while sitting beside the billionaire.

He said: ‘The moment I invite President Trump to be Arsenal’s new manager – because he’d build a strong defensive wall, have an attacking philosophy and want to win big trophies at all costs.’

Arsène Wenger is a French football manager. He has been the manager of Arsenal since October 1996, where he has since become the club’s longest-serving manager and most successful in terms of major titles won.

Piers believes that if Donald Trump replace Wenger, he would build a ‘strong defensive wall’ for Arsenal.

In 1996, Wenger was named manager of Arsenal and two years later the club completed a league and FA Cup double. The club won another league and cup double in 2002 and retained the FA Cup a year later. In 2004, Wenger managed Arsenal to an undefeatable league seaaon, a feat last accomplished by Preston North End, 115 years previously.

He is usually called “Le Professeur” (French for “The Professor”) by his fans and the British media to because of studious demeanour.

Wenger has not won a Premier League title for 14 years.
