Nigerian music legend and his wife, 2Face & Annie Idibia have gone to donate some relief materials to victims in benue state that were affected by the flood
The Benue born musician and his wife, 2Face & Annie Idibia arrived at the Internally Displaced People’s camp to give some really needed relief materials to the victims of the Benue flood. He donated cash as well. He also came with trucks of rice, yams, water noodles and other materials for the people.
Aside this, 2Face also made a pledge to donate 60% of his music proceeds. This was to help about 110,000 people that were affected by the flood. In addition to this, 2Face hinted at hosting a big concert that will help to raise money.
His efforts were praised by the wife of the governor of Benue state, Mrs Eunice Ofom. She thanked him profoundly for his help and philanthropic efforts toward helping his people.
The Benue flood destroyed over 46,000. About 110,000 people have been displaced by the flood. The IDP camp built in a market in Benue has been serving as a temporary shelter for those affected.
